A Day in the Park

I love it when I have repeat clients! It is always so fun to see the kids again and how much they have grown since the last session. Im sure you remember Rylan and the Dodson Family who's story has captured so many hearts, well I met up with them for some Christmas pictures and was amazed at the progress Rylan has made in a short period of time. First he is walking, and going full speed at that. And he can now be without his vent for a few hours at a time which is huge. Giving him freedom from the machine he really is a typical two year old. There is nothing this boy cant do, and I am sure a big part of his motivation is his big brother Brayden. I first met the Dodson family at The Dojo, Brayden made such an impression with me. He is so mature and down to earth, he is a natural leader and a good role model for kids. Such sweet brothers, I love photographing this family!

Seeing Double, Dacula GA

Im sure most of you know by now I have a soft spot for boys. And what could be better then one cute blonde two year old? Yes I am talking about the Wolf brothers. I was so excited when Melissa asked if we can do pictures while they were in town. My mind started racing of things to do with two sweet boys, and I came up with a Christmas tree and vintage airplanes. I knew going into this it would either work or not and thats the fun thing about two year olds you really cant plan anything. The boys of course loved the airplanes, and were really excited about eating the orniments. They also really liked the bike that was nearby, the tree not so much. We went for a little walk and they got to play on the playground, and when all else failed we just tipped them upside down to get some giggles. While I didnt get a lot of brother love shots I really love the pictures I got.
I love these two!

Stone Mountain Family Photos

I really enjoyed this family. They have such a great sense of humor and working with older kids is so different, they listen! I can tell there are not many dull moments in this house. Here are some of my favorites from the session.

The Knight Family

I adore this family! They are so much fun to photograph, maybe its because we have been friends for a while or maybe its just the simple fact of how much they love one and other. Ian and Peyton let the kids be themselves, Eve had a homemade lasso that had to be in every picture and Eli didn't put down the football once.  It made the session fun, and I think the pictures came out perfect. It is where their kids are at right now in real life, no fake smiles for the camera or awkward poses just the kids being kids. We had a fun time together!

The Deberry Family

It is so much fun to have repeat clients and friends, to see how the kids change from season to season! Last year we did Jackson and Austin's pictures with one set of grandparents, so this year when the other side of the family was in town it was the perfect opportunity to take some pictures. We met at a local park where it was so sweet to see the boys softer side with their beautiful baby cousin. They were so sweet holding her hand and directing her on what to do.

The Stevens Family

One thing I just love about this job is the clients. The Stevens Family was so much fun to work with. Haley is about to turn one and she is just a doll, it was so sweet to see her interact with her parents and her beloved toys they brought. We got to end the session with a birthday cake and she did not hesitate to get her hands dirty! I am pretty sure she was up for the rest of the day with that sugar rush. Enjoy the pictures of this sweet family!

Holmes / Rivera Family

It was so nice to work with this family. Not only are they beautiful these are the most respectful and polite children I have met. They really love each other and the camera loves them. I asked William what he likes to do for fun he looked at his brother and said "play with my big brother, he is the most fun". Melt my heart! They all have amazing eyes that smile at you, and I do believe you will see Isabel in the magazines one day!

The Edlin Girls

It was so much fun to see these two beauties. I have known their mom, Britt all my life, actually she was my baby sitter growing up. Emma is 4 and is full of personality and life, she goes full speed and just has so much to share. She showed me all around her favorite spots like the fairy garden, the stone lion and her playground.  Emma showed off her dance moves (while Maddie clapped) and was so sweet with her sister. Maddie just turned one and is getting the hang of walking. She has the biggest,  prettiest brown eyes with lashes that go on forever. She was happy just watching her big sister, and she loves her swing. Britt and Don are going to be in trouble with these beautiful girls!
It was such a fun morning with this sweet family.

The Jackson Family

Sometimes you have a session where everything just goes right. When I saw the Jackson Family walking towards me on Saturday morning I knew it was going to be fun. Lauren and Grant are full of personality and while they say they don’t get along you can see how much they love each other. They both brought a special friend to the session, Lauren had her blue bear and Grant with kitty facing the other way, it was so cute! I hope you all enjoy the pictures as much as I did taking them.

We ended the day with popcicles and butterflies... perfection!
