2013 Rates

For a lot of people a New Year is a time for reflection, to set goals, to grow and a time of change. As I reflect on my fist year in business I can’t help but smile. I have been so fortunate with all of the support from you and my family to make this dream job of mine possible. 2012 was a year of learning the ins and outs of running a business, and balancing my time (something I feel I will be working on for years to come.)   As you looked through the new 2013 Client Session Guide I am sure you noticed a few changes. After a lot of consideration I have altered my prices for 2013. I did this knowing I still want to provide affordable photography to you, so I have broken it into two different options; The Everlasting Session and The Forget Me Not. I will get into those in a moment but first I want to give you a little reasoning behind my decision.
My family is the most important thing in my life, during the week I balance being a wife, mom and working at a full time position at Oral Arts Dental Lab with my dad. The weekends are family time and I have come to realize in this past year time is a very valuable thing and my time is worth more then what I have made it. I love every minute of our sessions together, and while we say good bye after one hour the work is just beginning for me. I spend the rest of the week looking, editing and preparing your pictures. Lots of time, energy and love go into each and every session.

I don’t want you to book Blue Prints because I am the most affordable, I want you to come to me because you see my work and need pictures like that of your children on your walls! Book me because you love my work.

You are purchasing not only the images but the rights to print the images. You are able to take the CD and print an unlimited amount of pictures, albums and prints as you'd like.

Now on to the options

The Forget Me Not Session         150.00

One hour session
Web gallery to choose 20 images on a CD with the rights to print (additional images may be added for 12.00 each)
Blog post for sharing
App with 5-8 images for your smart phone or tablet

The Everlasting Session                 300.00
One hour session
Blog post for sharing
Up to 50 images on a CD with the rights to print
App with 5-8 images for your smart phone or tablet

Even with the changes I have made you will find I am still competitively priced. I will be offering new products this year such as custom frames, prints and canvases.  Look for information on the Referral program which will get you a free Forget Me Not Session, and I am planning at least one mini session for the year. Please look the information over and let me know any questions or problems you may have. I do hope we will continue to work together in the New Year.

Headshots

Stepping outside the box can be a fun and challenging experience and at the same time a bit scary!  This past weekend I was hired to do some headshots for a new company, Grad School Match. It is a company that helps match graduate programs and students together.  Their website is launching this week on Nov 1 so be sure to check them out.
Over the past year I have gotten pretty comfortable with kids, they laugh at my jokes, like when I dance and accept bribery. I like kids, they get me. But Business men, that is a whole new beast. Surely they would never laugh at immature kid jokes or accept bribes....or would they? I must admit I was a bit intimidated going into the session.
TJ, Brian and Jordan were great, I felt very comfortable around them and it was a fun morning. We met at Emory University and took advantage of the beautiful fall scenery around campus. I think we really got some great shots, and it didnt cost me one piece of candy. Here are a few of my favorite
