Crop Comparison

So you are in love with all your new pictures and can’t wait to display them in your home! You have all the walls marked, beautiful frames that took you forever to choose and now you just have to get the prints. Wait, hold on let me save you some aggravation and time. The last thing you want is to get your prints only to find your head cut off and little Susie's arm missing! If you are anything like me you will be on the phone with the printing company asking them what they did wrong, I mean seriously did they think you only wanted one eye in the picture. But really the problem comes when you’re doing the ordering and choosing the size. Some pictures just won’t work at certain sizes, and need to be left un- cropped for those you should print at 4x6, 16x24 or 20x30.  Here is a cropping guide I created to help you see how different sizes look.

You can see how much the 8x10 and 16x20 change the picture. I also came across this great post (thank you pinterest)

Sometimes it just helps to get a visual. So before ordering take your time and make sure the pictures you are getting are the right size!
